Improving its purchasing strategy the Open Joint-Stock Company «Enel OGK-5» introduced starting from 15.07.2009 a supplier qualification system for goods, works and services.
Through the qualification process we aim at: 1. Creating a unique base of trusted suppliers in line with world best practices and standards set by the parent company Enel Spa (Italy); 2. Reducing time for purchase execution by organizing tender procedures (prices and proposals requests) only among the qualified suppliers; 3. Establishing long term mutually beneficial relationships for cooperation with partners-suppliers.
A company may be awarded a status of qualified supplier valid for the period of 1 – 3 years after submitting to a qualification process conducted by OJSC ENEL OGK-5.
A company willing to obtain the status of qualified supplier should demonstrate:
- financial and economic capability (evidenced by strong balance sheets and profit and loss accounts);
- technical capabilities related to selected material group;
- absence of any legal restrictions of activity (tax, administrative and criminal nature), related to the company as well as its management;
- compliance with ENEL ethical principles;
- other requirements as specified for different material groups.
All communication during the Qualification process will be carried out in Russian language.
