Improving its purchasing strategy the Open Joint-Stock Company «Enel OGK-5» introduced starting from 15.07.2009 a supplier qualification system for goods, works and services.
Through the qualification process we aim at:
1. Creating a unique base of trusted suppliers in line with world best practices and standards set by the parent company Enel Spa (Italy);
2. Reducing time for purchase execution by organizing tender procedures (prices and proposals requests) only among the qualified suppliers;
3. Establishing long term mutually beneficial relationships for cooperation with partners-suppliers.
A company may be awarded a status of qualified supplier valid for the period of 1 – 3 years after submitting to a qualification process conducted by OJSC ENEL OGK-5.
A company willing to obtain the status of qualified supplier should demonstrate:
- financial and economic capability (evidenced by strong balance sheets and profit and loss accounts);
- technical capabilities related to selected material group;
- absence of any legal restrictions of activity (tax, administrative and criminal nature), related to the company as well as its management;
- compliance with ENEL ethical principles;
- other requirements as specified for different material groups.
All communication during the Qualification process will be carried out in Russian language.
The complete list of requirements and criteria for each material group are provided to the candidate upon submitting an initial request for qualification.
