Director General

The Director General of OGK-5 is appointed by the Board of Directors. He also performs the functions of the Chairman of the Executive Board, and proposes candidates to the Executive Board to the Board of Directors.

The competence of the Director General of OGK-5 includes all issues related to administration of the Company’s day-to-day activities except issues within the competence of the General Shareholders’ Meeting, Board of Directors and Executive Board of the Company.

	Anatoly Kopsov has been in energy sector since 1980s, holding various management positions: Director of Karmanovskaya GRES, Chairman of the Ministry Council of Bashkortostan Republic, General Director of Centrenergo Unified Energy System and Central Department of RAO UES of Russia, RAO UES Executive Board member and council, other top management positions in RAO UES of Russia. Prior to joining OGK-5, Anatoly Kopsov worked as General Director of OAO Mosenergo. He also has a number of state and industry awards. Since May 1, 2008, Anatoly Kopsov has been working as Director General of JSC OGK-5.
