Code of ethics

Enel OGK-5 Code of Ethics expresses its commitments and ethical responsibilities in the conduct of its business.
The Code of Ethic consists in: 

1. General Principles
The code defines the values which inspire the Group’s actions, as honesty, impartiality, confidentiality, safeguarding shareholder value, value of human resources, transparent and complete information, quality of services, environmental protection, and responsibility towards the community.

2. Criteria of Conduct in relations with each category of stakeholders
It offers guidelines and general principles to prevent the risk of unethical behavior towards stakeholders: shareholders, employees, customers, suppliers, communities. 

3. Implementation procedures
The Internal Control Committee is responsible for the implementations and monitoring of the compliance with the Code of Ethics. The Auditing Department provides for the application and respect of the Code. All stakeholders can report violations or suspected violations of the Code of Ethics through dedicated channels. In 2009, 243 reports were received (of which 40 are currently being analyzed) and 35 violations of the Code of Ethics were established.
